As you can see, we are passionate about helping each child achieve their individual potential. Education Tailored to Fit Student Needs
Experience has taught us that every child learns at their own pace and in their own way. That’s why, as a parent, you might worry that your child’s individual needs aren’t identified or met while at school. At Amelia Earhart, every administrator, teacher, and staff member tailors each students’ learning experience to fit their needs. At Amelia Earhart, we are not one size fits all.
Supporting the Whole Child
We want your student to develop socially and emotionally. With our full-time counselor, two Behavioral Support aids, and a dedicated Wellness Room, your child can practice regulating emotions through fun and positive practices. We use all of our resources to support student wellbeing. We want your child to feel safe and comfortable– this is your children’s home away from home.
Personalized Classroom Learning
We want to make sure that your child can discover their full academic potential. Students who might need a boost in English or Math will get an extra dose of research-based, small-group instruction. Our school is geared in giving your child more one-on-one time with teachers, and we want every student who leaves our school to feel prepared for the next step in their schooling.
Robust Enrichment Programs
Kids need a well-rounded education to prepare them for the future. However, I also strongly believe that if kids can find a passion at school, this creates a reason for them to want to be here every day, and an excitement for learning. For some students that passion might be in Art, or Music. Others might find it through sports – like our optional sports leagues we run during lunch recess. Some get caught up in the love of reading through our Earhart Literacy Community. Still others might find their passion in STEM fields, such as through learning how to create 3-D printing like we have here. We want to foster, not stifle, innovation and creative thinking.
