New After-School Google Classroom
Amelia After School has created a spot for students and families to find activities, resources, virtual field trips, and more!
As a completely optional resource for students and families, the Amelia After School team has put together a Google Classroom where you can find fun ideas for activities, virtual field trips, resources, and even some live video sessions.
You can access this Google Classroom with the code: vfeyszh
Nothing here is required. We’re here to support and enrich the lives of our community, especially during this time of “social distancing.”
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to Emma Hoskisson at email@example.com

Before School Programming
Curiosity Club Amelia Earhart offers a free before school program for students to create, play, and explore a variety of ideas and projects. Letting students enrich their understanding of the world by honoring their curiosity sets them up for success during the school day.
This before school class is held Monday-Friday mornings from 7:30-8:10. The door to the East (or left) of the Main Entrance will be open from 7:20-7:30. Breakfast is served in the cafeteria from 8:10-8:30.
After School Programming
Begins Monday, September 23rd, 2019! Time: 3:20-4:45 pm, Mondays-Thursdays For 1st-6th graders
After School is a free program for 1st-6th grade students to participate in a variety of activities, get homework help, receive academic tutoring, and develop social and emotional skills.
Students are expected to participate Monday-Thursday so teachers can plan and provide consistent, quality experiences for students.
Snacks Snacks are provided by the Federal Child Nutrition program for students who are enrolled in and participate in After School.
Transportation There is a bus that will be picking up students at 4:45 and will run the regular Amelia Earhart bus route. Students can also walk home or be picked up. Please notify the school or Emma Hoskisson before 3:00 pm if students will be taking an alternate method of transportation other than what’s marked on the enrollment form. This helps us ensure the safety of our students.
Communication We’ve been asked to find an alternate to Remind as our primary means of communication. We’ll be communicating via email, text, and notes sent home. We’ve also heard your feedback and we’ll be updating our website regularly throughout the year.
Volunteering Having families and community members volunteer their time and their expertise in After School adds so much value to our programs. Working with our students is a fun and rewarding experience and the students benefit no end in being surrounded by adults they can look up to. If you’re interested in volunteering some of your time, contact Emma Hoskisson with your questions.
Feedback We are always seeking to improve the services we offer to the students and families of Amelia Earhart. If you have questions, ideas, or feedback you’d like to share, let us know. We’d love to hear from you!
Thank you for your constant support! We’re excited to commence this new After School year!
