Amelia Earhart Elementary School

Schedule at Amelia Earhart from Aug. 17th – 22nd

Parents of Amelia Earhart,

1.  As a reminder, the schedule for the next 4 school days (Early Out due to parent/teacher/student meetings) are:

  • Thursday, August 17th – 1:00 PM Dismissal
  • Friday, August 18th – 1:30 PM Dismissal
  • Monday, August  21st – 1:00 PM Dismissal
  • Tuesday, August 22nd – 1:00 PM Dismissal

2.  Regular Schedule begins on Wednesday, August 23rd (8:30 AM – 3:20 PM Monday – Thursday, and 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM Friday).  8:40 AM is the late bell time.

3.  Important information about Drop Off / Pick Up:

  • The earliest drop-off time is 8:00 and only for students eating breakfast.  No students can be dropped off before 8:00 (the exception is choir practice once that starts).
  • Students who arrive between 8:00 and 8:10 will need to be dropped off on the northeast side of the school, but then walk to the east breakfast doors (see attached map for details).
  • Students dropped off at 8:10 – 8:30 can go through the northwest doors (for breakfast) or the northeast doors (for recess).  Outside supervision begins at 8:10. For a visual of this process, and grade level line-up areas, please see the map attachment below.
  • Students dropped off after 8:30 will need to enter through the main entrance and go straight to class.

2. El horario regular comienza el miércoles, 23 de agosto (8:30 AM – 3:20 PM lunes – jueves, y 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM vie es). 8:40 AM es la hora del imbre ardío.

3. Información importante sobre dejar y recoger a los alumnos:

  • La hora más emprana para dejar a los alumnos es a las 8:00 y sólo para los alumnos que desayunan. No se puede dejar a ningún alumno antes de las 8:00 (la excepción es la práctica del coro una vez que empiece).
  • Los alumnos que lleguen antes de las 8:00 no podrán volver a casa.
  • Los alumnos que lleguen entre las 8:00 y las 8:10 endrán que ser dejados en el lado noreste de la escuela, pero luego caminar hasta las puertas de desayuno este (ver mapa adjunto para más detalles).
  • Los alumnos que se dejen a las 8:10 – 8:30 pueden ir por las puertas noroeste (para el desayuno) o las puertas noreste (para el recreo). La supervisión exte a comienza a las 8:10.
