Parents of Amelia Earhart,

  1. Monday, Sept. 11th, we have our Vision Screening.  PTA is looking for more volunteers.
  2. Join our school PTA (pay the $5 dues by cash or check in the office) by Wednesday, Sept 13, and you could win a dozen custom cookies by Cookie Doos! (see flyer for details). We will draw for the winner at our PTA Meeting on Thursday, Sept 14 at 10:00 am at the school.  We’d love to have your input and share our PTA plans for the year! Email  ameliaearhartpta@gmail.com  or   reeves.bethf@gmail.com with any questions!
  3. Our School Community Council meeting (SCC) will be on Thursday, Sept. 14th at 11:00 AM.  We still have open spots and the need for more parent volunteers.  Please email  ryanm@provo.edu if you are interested.  
  4. On Thursday, Sept. 14th from 3:30 – 4:30 we will be giving away free food from the Utah County Foodbank for any family in need.  You will drive up on the east side of the school and we can hand you fresh and canned food items.  
  5. Friday, Sept. 15th is School Picture Day.  Look for information being sent home with your child, reach out to your child’s teacher, or email Tina Mecham (tinam@provo.edu) if you have questions. 
  6. Those interested in free art classes from BYU, please see the attached flier below. The BYU Art program actually does have a cost, but you can apply for financial aid through the program if you can’t afford it.   Padres de Amelia Earhart,

(ver volante para más detalles). Sortearemos al ganador en nuestra reunión de la PTA el jueves 14 de septiembre a las 10:00 am en la escuela. ¡Nos encantaría contar con su opinión y compartir nuestros planes de la PTA para el año!   3. Nuestra reunión del Consejo de la Comunidad Escolar (SCC) será el jueves 14 de septiembre a las 11:00 AM. Todavía enemos plazas libres y la necesidad de más padres voluntarios. Por favor correo electrónico ryanm@provo.edu si usted está interesado.
  4. El jueves, 14 de septiembre de 3:30 – 4:30 estaremos dando comida gratis del Banco de Comida del Condado de Utah para cualquier familia necesitada. Usted conducirá en el lado este de la escuela y podemos entregarle alimentos frescos y enlatados.
  5. El vie es, 15 de septiembre es el Día de Fotos Escolares. Busque la información que se envía a casa con su hijo, póngase en contacto con el maestro de su hijo, o por correo electrónico Tina Mecham (tinam@provo.edu) si iene preguntas.
  6. Los interesados en clases de arte gratuitas de BYU, por favor vea el volante adjunto a continuación. El programa de Arte BYU en realidad iene un costo, pero usted puede solicitar ayuda financiera a ravés del programa si usted can’t permitirse.
