Parents of Amelia Earhart,

1.  Please see the attachments below with information about the STEM fair.  We hope many students choose to participate.  We strongly encourage 5th and 6th-grade students to join.  This is an “extra-curricular” activity, and so students will need to do this at home, outside of school.  You can reach out to Jonathan Hoehne ( jonathanh@provo.edu) for any questions or help in the process.  Key dates:  

a. Thursday, January 11th is the date projects need to be approved/registered (can be approved and started earlier)

b. Friday, February 2nd is the date of the actual STEM fair at Amelia Earhart.

2.  Our Read with a Child Day is on Wednesday, Dec. 20th. from 8:45 – 9:30.  We hope all parents can attend!!  Afterward, there is a Christmas Concert for parents who choose to stay, and each grade will sing one song at a time.

3.  Wednesday, Dec. 20th is an early out.  School will be out at 1:30 PM.

4.  Christmas Break starts on Thursday, Dec. 21st.  There is no School from Dec. 21st – January 2nd.  School will resume on Wednesday, January 3rd.
