Natalie Wood loves sharing “Heckedy Peg” by Audrey Wood with her students. She enjoys using different voices to make the story come alive; her students always have a blast listening to it!
This year, Natalie aims to learn alongside her students. She is thrilled to teach such an amazing group of kids and finds her experience enlightening. Already she has noticed significant changes in her teaching style and her vision of who she wants to be as a teacher.
Chocolate is Natalie’s go-to snack, keeping her emotionally energized. A little treat during lunch or prep time goes a long way in keeping her spirits high!
Natalie loves the excitement and happiness that permeates the school. Despite the occasional rough day, the supportive and student-driven staff make it a dream come true for her to work here.
Natalie advises her students to remember their successes during tough times. Being grateful for moments when hard work pays off can help them navigate challenging assignments, days, or relationships. She wants her students to believe in themselves and be confident in their abilities because they are already so smart and capable.
We are so lucky to have such a passionate and dedicated teacher like Natalie Wood in our school community!
