Lindsay Cook – Amelia Earhart Elementary’s New 6th Grade Teacher

We’re excited to welcome Lindsay to join the faculty at Amelia Earhart Elementary. Lindsay began her teaching career in Uintah School District and will join the Amelia Earhart community for the 2025-26 school year.

Lindsay graduated from Utah State University, Uintah Basin, where she earned a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. Lindsay began her career during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and has taught a wide range of grade levels, including 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th grades, as well as English as a Second Language. Her broad teaching background and adaptability make her a great addition to our team.

A quote that has guided her throughout her career comes from George Washington Carver: “Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom.” Lindsay firmly believes that this freedom is every student’s right. She’s passionate about partnering with families to support student success, meeting students where they are, and helping them grow and reach their goals.

Born in Provo and a 5th-generation Utahn, Lindsay is excited to return to her roots and begin this new adventure in the city she calls home. Outside the classroom, Lindsay has a love for languages—she speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, and German! She’s currently learning guitar, plays the piano, and enjoys listening to rock music. She also loves taking walks and exploring Utah’s beautiful and unique landscapes.

We’re so glad to have Lindsay join the Aviator family and look forward to an amazing 2025–2026 school year together!
