Parents of Amelia Earhart,

Today is the last day of School!  I hope that each of you has a fun and safe summer.  A couple of important reminders:

1.  Please have your kids read daily throughout the summer.  Please read to your kids daily (or as often as you can) throughout the summer.  Take them to the Provo City Library, have them find books that interest them, and then create a schedule and place for them to read and get into books.  It will be fun, and it will help them with their reading skills!

2.  PTA has created a flyer (attached) to show some very simple ways to raise money for our school.  Things like Amazon Smiles, and Online Boxtops cost you nothing, but give our PTA money to help with Field Trips, etc.

¡Hoy es el último día de clases! ¡Espero que cada uno de ustedes tenga un verano divertido y seguro! Un par de recordatorios importantes:

1. Por favor haga que sus hijos lean todos los días durante el verano. Lea a sus hijos todos los días (o tan a menudo como pueda) durante el verano. Llévelos a la biblioteca de la ciudad de Provo, pídales que busquen libros que les interesen y luego cree un horario y un lugar para que lean y se metan en libros. ¡Será divertido y les ayudará en sus habilidades de lectura!

2. La PTA ha creado un volante (adjunto) para mostrar algunas formas muy sencillas de recaudar fondos para nuestra escuela. Cosas como Amazon Smiles y Box Tops en línea que no le cuestan nada, pero dan dinero a nuestra PTA para ayudar con excursiones, etc.
