Community Council
On October 7, 2024 we held a School Community Council meeting. Below are the minutes:
- Welcome
- Adopt Rules of Order and Procedure
- Reviewed Ethical and behavior discourse
- Meetings open to the public
- Making decisions require a motion and a “second”
- Review Required laws related to Land Trust funds and School Community Councils
- Rules and Laws for SCC
- Highlighted the child access routing plan (safe schools route) will go over it in our November meeting.
- Safe technology and digital citizenship- district filters, etc.
- School Safety committee- SCC chair will attend safety committee meeting
- School Land TRUST money allocated to the school. Biggest task to vote/adopt the plan.
- Parent Feedback on Parent-School Compact, and Parent Engagement Policies Reviewed with parents out compact and engagement policies- Parents reviewed the document and gave input.
- Open for questions, ideas, concerns
