Step-by-Step Kindergarten Registration Instructions

We welcome all Amelia Earhart Elementary community students who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025, to register for Kindergarten for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. To make the process simple, follow the step-by-step instructions below. Please share this with your neighbors and friends who live within our school boundaries. We are beginning to plan for our future aviators!

Step 1: Pre-register your student online

Where: Go to powerschool and select the “New Student Registration” tab. Within one business day, you will be sent your login and instructions on completing the online portion. Instructions are available in English and Spanish.

When: Before Thursday, March 20

Step 2: Register in person

Where: Amelia Earhart Elementary Main Office

When: Monday, March 24 through Thursday, March 27

Time: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Step 3: Bring the following records

• Original Birth Certificate
• Immunizations Records
• Proof of Residency (Must be a current utility bill or mortgage/lease, rental agreement.)
• Parent / Guardian ID
