Parents of Amelia Earhart,

1. Food Pantry is on Monday, October 10th from 3:30 – 4:30 PM with pick up on the east side of the school.  This is free and available for any family.
2. Volunteer Opportunity at Amelia Earhart Elementary. Food Pantry Bag Assembly. Monday October 10, 2:45pm-3:15pm (5 volunteers needed). Sign up here.  
3. As a last reminder, the entries for the Reflections art contest are due October 10th.  All the entries are turned in online at https://www.utahpta.org/ref.  All information can also be found on that website. If you don’t know the Reflections Program is a national program run by the PTA. There are different categories, 2D Art, 3D Art, Photography, Literature, Film, Dance, and Music.  There are different age divisions, and the top entries in each age group and category move on to the next level. The artwork is judged at the School, District, Region, State, and then National level.  Also participating in Reflections can be counted as an art contest on college applications, kind of a neat fact.
4. Our Online Scheduler for SEP (Parent / Teacher Conferences) opens today.  Please see the fliers below for information on how to schedule those online.  Best times go to the people who sign up first!  SEP Conferences will take place on Nov. 2nd -4th (each of those days is also an early out).
5. Fall Break starts next Thursday!  We have school as usual Monday – Wednesday.  No School Thursday, October 13th through Tuesday, October 18th.  Students return with a normal schedule on Wednesday, October 19th.
