Parents of Amelia Earhart Elementary School,

1. PTA Meeting is at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 9th.  SCC Meeting is at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 9th.  Please email Tina Mecham (tinam@provo.edu) for Zoom links for both meetings.
2. Dental Varnishing is on March 17th.  It is free.  Please watch for permission slips going home with students next week. (see also attachment below)
3. Kindergarten Registration is March 20th – 23rd.  Please make sure to spread the word also to those in your neighborhoods who have students who will be in Kindergarten next year.  See the flyers below for more details.
4. The state passed a bill that will fund Full-Day Kindergarten for all classes.  This is great news to meet the needs of kids!  However, we want parents to know, that the law does allow parents to choose half-day.  All Kindergarten classes next year will teach new material in the mornings, and re-teach / review material in the afternoon so that if students want to only do half-day Kindergarten, they will be able to do that as they have done in the past.  
5. For current 6th Grade students – Dixon will have two Parent Information Meetings scheduled at Dixon Middle School Auditorium on the following dates:
   • March 15th, 6:30-7:30 pm
   • March 16th, 6:30-7:30 pm
6. If you have a child that you would like to attend our District Pre-School Class starting in August, here’s a link for registration.
