Choir Concert
On the evening of November 20, the Amelia Earhart early morning children’s choir, directed by Mrs. Lydia Fabian and accompanied by Miss LaDale Toblar, performed a concert of autumn and winter songs for a large audience of family and friends in the school gymnasium.
Art Show
After the concert, the crowd enjoyed a “You Matter”-themed art show of student work. “We are so fortunate to have Mrs. Elton at our school!” said an art admirer.
Other activities of the evening included an art show scavenger hunt and art activities such as
-
- creating a portrait with playdough
- relaxing with mindfulness coloring
- creating an illusion of a single image with a thaumatrope
- painting wax resist watercolor bookmark
- increasing your creativity by completing a squiggle drawing
Thank you to the many volunteers and the Amelia Earhart teachers, staff, custodians, and administration who guaranteed the success of the evening! We also appreciate the support of the parents, family members and our community for supporting the arts in our school.
