Parents of Amelia Earhart,

1.  As a reminder we will have our Halloween Parade (parents enter at the northeast doors) at 9:15 AM.  We encourage parents to come at 8:45 to get great seats and listen to Mr. Hoehne share information about our Title 1 program offerings.

2.  We have SEP conferences on Nov. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.  If you do not know your appointment time, please reach out to your teacher, or call our office at 801-370-4630.

3.  We will have Early Outs on Nov. 2nd – 4th, with students leaving at 1:30 PM on each of those days.

4.  We are creating a video in honor of Veterans Day on November 11.  Any student who would like to include a family member who is a US military veteran in our video can send in a photo or video clip to be included. If the veteran does not live nearby, the veteran themselves can even send in a short video greeting to the students at Amelia Earhart with a special shout-out to their student. We know of several students who have family members who are actively serving in the military right now, and we would love to hear from them. Please keep the videos under a minute in length and only one video per student. If there are several siblings that will honor the same family member, please create just one video for the family group. We can also create a slide for the video with a photo, name, etc. of your veteran.

Please send all videos, photos, and questions to Mrs. Anderson at dianea@provo.edu no later than November 3. She will assemble all the clips together into a video that each class will show to their students on November 11, Veterans Day. This video will not be released on social media in order to protect the privacy of our veterans and their families.
